We’ve had a few power outages here. This morning the power was out for about 5 hours. That means the tree was not lit and the pictures were not updating. But, PGE came through and we’re back!! There is still the problem of dealing with the foot of snow is a town that doesn’t know what to do with snow. It’s iffy on whether family will make it here for Christmas Eve.

We were late getting the tree because of snow and ice — both of which this town does not do well with. We will decorate the tree this weekend and finally have the controllable angel which I know you have been waiting for. We plan on wagilia dinner Christmas eve and the family over Christmas day so stop by and have some hot cider. And Merry Christmas from our family to yours.

Merry Christmas to all!! We’re planning on putting up the tree this weekend (12/14) but that will depend on the weather. They are talking snow and temps in the 20s which, for here, is severe weather — this town shuts down for a few flakes. But Christmas is still on the way and that makes everyone smile.

Happy Holidays to everyone! The celebration days are quickly approaching. We will have the family over for Thanksgiving dinner starting at 1pm PST on November 27th. Stop by for some turkey and pumpkin pie.

Halloween is behind us for another year. With the kids off at college, we handed out treats without the high energy children in the house creates. The cam also had a short hiccup which caused the pictures to time out. Fixed now. Time to enjoy the lull between Halloween decorations and Christmas decorations.

One of the camera’s time would drift so the images would be current but the time stamps at the top would be many minutes apart. I hope I have that fixed now with some references to ntp servers. Now I need to go and put up some Halloween decorations.

Haven’t written in a while. The summer is past. The boys came home from college and you might have seen D&D games, occasional family gatherings and a Forth of July party. The kids are now all  back to school and the house is getting ready for the holiday season. Leaves are starting to fall and pumpkins are for sale in the stores. It’s great that you stopped by.

It’s been a while for an entry. I know people are still looking in — the lights keep clicking and I keep waving. I wasn’t sure there was an audience since the camera update was broken for nearly a month yet I didn’t receive one comment or email. Enjoy the Spring and the summer. Stay cool if you can.

I got around to adjusting the image times to daylight savings time. The images are also now updated every 10 seconds and the 24 hour link works again. Just a few minor tweeks.
